Jessica Toon has joined the West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition as the new Rural Grocer Network Coordinator! Jessica is a native West Virginian who graduated summa cum laude from Marshall University. She has spent much of her career working in client relations and hospitality, but also has experience in management and auditing. Jessica will use her expertise in interpersonal relations and event planning to collaboratively develop placemaking activities that align with regional identities and promote ecotourism efforts. Her background in auditing and mentorship will aid her in connecting tailored technical assistance providers and business coaches with independently-owned & operated grocers and retailers.
