Lee is a Charleston native whose professional career is guided by one basic philosophy… chasing the greater good will lead one to the path of personal fulfillment. He has spent most of his professional career working for community-based organizations throughout central and southern West Virginia. Prior to coming to the WVFFC he served on the front lines of the War on Poverty as a community advocate for one of the state’s federally designated Community Action Agencies. He also worked as a writer, and editor, for rural community newspapers for more than a decade.

While he does treasure the outdoor adventures available in West Virginia, and takes advantage of them regularly, his favorite pastime is deep-diving into film history. He once had a bedroom television that was stuck on Turner Classic Movies, and he was just fine with that.
