Ryan Sommerkorn

VAP Product Specialist

Ryan was born in New Jersey but came to West Virginia in 2007 via WVU and never left. He has a deep love of West Virginia and a background in program implementation, public health, and community development. Ryan is passionate about collaboration and creating connections, with a focus on helping people achieve their goals and dreams.
 

Ryan has a BA in both Criminology and German, as well as a Masters in Public Administration. Ryan is a woodworker for a small business he runs with his friends, focusing on handmade Appalachian goods. In his spare time, Ryan is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys cooking, ice hockey, gardening, and playing music.
