1 in 7 West Virginians and 1 in 5 West Virginia children struggle with hunger. Children rely on the generosity of the community to provide a backpack of food for the weekend. Senior citizens choose between their prescriptions and food. If you’re fighting to feed your family, members of your community, school children, senior citizens, veterans, or the disabled, then you know that the generosity of others is not enough. Food insecurity is a policy issue.
Food for All is a one-day summit for those fighting against hunger in West Virginia. Food for All is an opportunity to work towards 5 bold ideas that secures food access and equity for our communities. Food for all is an opportunity to join an action team and make a difference. November 13th. 10AM-5PM. The Event Center at Brushy Fork 929 Brushy Food Rd Buckhannon, WV
