The West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition, together with their partners, invites farmers and other members of the food and agriculture community to a meet and greet with WV Department of Agriculture Commissioner, Kent Leonhardt. The event will be hosted “forum” style where the Department of Agriculture will take questions from the audience on a wide range of agriculture and food related topics. Participants are encouraged to bring questions for the Commissioner to answer. The free event will take place on May 7th at 6:30 PM in Heritage Hall at Heritage Farm Museum and Village. Heritage Farm is located at 3300 Harvey Rd, Huntington, WV 25704.

Farm Training Program Workshop & Annual Meeting February 22, 2018
The WV Incubator Farm Network will be hosting a workshop for Farm Training Program staff and our annual meeting at the 2018 Small Farms Conference in Morgantown, WV. Please join us from 8:30-11:30 for a workshop geared toward farm training programs and long term support for their trainees (interns, apprentices, crew members) - presenter TBA. The second part of the day from 1:30-4:30 will be our WV Incubator Farm Network Annual Meeting and 2018 planning session. Everyone is welcome to attend the annual meeting as we expand our network and work towards training the future farmers of West Virginia.
